Fine Craftsmanship
With some of the best craftsmanship in the business today, ESP designs the Eclipse body with a mahogany based body with a flamed maple top. The neck is set-thru with a thin U contour made of 3-piece mahogany topped with a Macassar ebony fretboard. The EC-1000 is a promising guitar that will deliver comfort, and absolute playability with amazing tonal options.
Excellent Hardware
The LTD locking tuners are a great feature for this guitar for those of you who want an easy-string change system, as well as tension for your strings to be balanced. The Tonepros locking TOM and tailpiece provide the perfect system for intonation and keeping your tuning in a stable setting. The nut is a molded nut which all go hand-in-hand from the head of the guitar all the way down to the tailpiece.
Seymour Duncan Pickups
Amazing tone from the Seymour Duncan pickups. The Jazz pickup in the neck position offers a fantastic clean glassy tone, it's amazing for intense leads and simple clean-playing. The bridge position pickup is the SH-5 Custom, which is an insanely awesome pickup to use for distortion tone. It's the perfect balance between using the SH-5 and the jazz pickup.
